Coaching Education
We are creating a high-level and comprehensive water polo Coaching Certification that will be FREE for any coach or club around the world. The certification will include beginning to advanced coaching technique with specific areas of focus (physical, tactical, technical and mental) and specific skills (writing workouts, breaking down video, conducting meetings etc.) Lessons will run full circle from introduction, how/ when to use that skill and appropriate testing and evaluation.
National Sport Growth
In the United States, certain states and regions (specifically California) have access to higher level games and better coaching. We believe that in order for water polo to grow successfully across the county, these resources and others need to be readily available to all programs. Our initiatives work to make sure that quality development tools are available on a wide scale basis.
Technology & Data
We are bringing standardization and measurables to the Sport by partnering with 6-8 Sports. 6-8 already provides athletes and coaches with effective methods to obtain data and stats that help with with personal and team training plans and development. Our job is to make sure that these resources are available to all qualified athletes and coaches around the world, regardless of income level or other limiting circumstances.
Elite Training Academy
We have created the first United States-based Water Polo Academy where talented and driven athletes from around the world can come for the highest level training, coaching resources, mentoring, physical therapy and more. Making this type of program available to all athletes (regardless of circumstance) is essential to helping develop our next generation of Olympic athletes and mentors.
Water Polo Ball Recycling
We are developing a waste reduction program that allows for the recycling of old water polo balls. Clubs will be able to change out old balls for new balls (and have the old ones recycled through us). The initiative will also include providing balls at a low or zero cost to low-income water polo programs.
